Royale Belleville (b. Paris, France) is a visual artist living and working in Amsterdam. Drawing on a background as a firefighter, Belleville explores the symbolic and emotional dimensions of fire, a recurring theme in series such as Alpha Burner, Interiors, and Chambre avec vue.
Working primarily with oil on canvas, Belleville creates striking contrasts where calm interiors are confronted by the violence of fire. This dialogue between serenity and chaos invites reflection on transformation, detachment, and vulnerability, offering a meditation on resilience in the face of adversity.
In 2010, Royale Belleville established Studio Inferno III, a creative framework that brings together his artistic practice with design and collaborative projects, providing both an artistic identity and a professional foundation.
